Makes Me Happy

5 Minutes from going to bed and then I remembered…NABLOPOMO!

This day! I actually slept “in” for a change thanks to a combination of efforts (tea, Tylenol PM, counting, stretching) but when I woke up at 4:30am I was actually a bit panicked it was so “late” and immediately went to work without blogging or sending out daily prompts or ANYTHING. And then the day just got away from me…as days do. But! I do have some cool stuff to show you! I’ve been Zendoodling like a MAD WOMAN! These things are wonderful additions to my bullet journal and I just love them SO MUCH. I think they’re helping with all sorts of areas of my life – at least a little bit. They cheer me up, they calm me down, they relax me…it’s not to any OH MY GOD MY LIFE IS DIFFERENT! levels but this habit is a nice addition to my coping skills and I’m so glad you all helped me discover it.

  1. I almost reached out on Twitter today, but I’m glad to get my Zoot fix! Your doodles as great; I especially like the monochromatic ones. Do you have a favorite? Oh! And how are the house updates coming along? Inquiring minds politely want to know.

  2. I don’t know if you are into markers like you are pens but my daughter just got Copic markers for her artwork. After using Crayola markers then Sharpies, she was ready to upgrade. They are amazing and have so many colors to choose from–she had a hard time picking a starter pack. Something to look into if you like markers 🙂

  3. Ooo! I love the zendoodles. I don’t have any artistic talent, but I might have to try it. I definitely could use more coping skills when stress gets to me (so I don’t eat the house).

  4. I love the zendoodles too. I searched for them on pinterest when you first mentioned them a couple weeks ago & I only saw black & white ones. I love the colored ones. I think I’m going to try them with the tiny bit of artistic ability I have. Thanks for sharing!!
