M. Kennedy from Fussy.org has declared the month of November as National Blog Posting Month or NaBloPoMo, a derivative of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). Notice me – currently the last blog on the list. The last of about a million, there are a lot of blogs on that list.

She is asking you and I post one entry every day for the entire month. Which – for me – not a problem. I do that in my sleep. So, I figured I’d amp it up a notch for myself and try to do 100 entries this month. I usually do 2 sometimes 3 each weekday. If I wanted to create the same challenge for myself but adjusted for my own current blogging habits – I needed to add one entry to every day. That would be close to 100 entries this month, and since 100 is a nice, round, even number -100 it is.

I invite you to join us in this challenge so that we may all have plenty of material to read for the next…(30 days in September, April, June and November.)…30 days. NaBloPoMo – entertaining me for 30 days.

  1. I thought about joining in, but my inlaws are going to be visiting until next Tuesday, and I don’t know that I’ll have the time. Plus they don’t know about my blog, so no NaBloPoMo fo’ me.

And also? How CUTE is NikkiZ in her lobster costume in your recent flickr pictures? The picture of her in the pot is adorable!

  2. Holy crap Zoot – that’s hard core!!! LOL

pretty new design, by the way – I always read via bloglines, so this is new to me.

  3. I’m in! I am not as ambitious as you are though and am just shooting for the post a day.

And hey, I’m way down the bottom of that very long list as well.

Can’t wait to read all 100 posts!

  4. I’m doing NaBloPoMo, too and am VERY excited. I’ve been scribbling ideas for the past few weeks.

I wondered what you were going to do to since you already post every day. πŸ˜‰

I really fear for my Bloglines account with all these bloggers updating. I hope it doesn’t pack up and leave. It’s already starting to smoke.

Also, as a blog starting with the letter R, I’m pretty far down the list, too. I will say, you’ve inspired me to start at the BOTTOM. Does that help?

  5. Hey, if I can just get off my butt and post every single day, I’m good. Of course, I kinda wish I was doing either Nanowrimo OR Nablopomo, not both at the same time.

Weekends are going to be the killer for me… I very rarely post on weekends.

  6. i signed up for NaBloPoMo a few days ago, which is good because i have really been neglecting my blog lately.

also… i have to post about my weekly running in order to make sure i keep doing it. i ran 3 miles straight yesterday, which i am immensly proud of.

  7. It sounds like fun now, but i’m afraid that by the end of the month I will have A)added 40 hundred new blogs to my reading list. B)my entires will just be – here! Here’s a picture of my kid! I had a turkey pita for lunch today! That’s it! What else do you people want from me??

  8. you’re insane! 100??? i can barely do 1 a day for 5 consecutive days…i’ve been debating on whether or not to join for a few a weeks now and after reading you’ll do 100 for the month, i’ve decided to join and i’ll be using you as my inspiration. let’s just hope i keep up without totally boring everyone.

  9. I’m trying to join in… I sent the email asking to join super early this morning… after reading you here all about it. I wanna play too, LMAO. I decided that even if I’m not on the official list.. I’m still gonna act like I am. I mean after all any reason to blog more is a good thing, lolol

I adore NikkiZ in her costume hun…. OMG the cuteness is killing me, lolol.

  10. In the neighborhood we moved from a couple of years ago we went throught to laundry baskets full of candy. It was so much fun but I am thinking now that could have bought some snazzy looking shoes.

  11. Don’t worry, I’m in the W’s. I’m really looking forward to this and hope the whole experience really will make blogging a natural part of my everyday life.

    Also, 100? OMG!

  12. Thanks for the motivating entry, Zoot, I joined up too! My actual writing entries have been few and far between lately, so this will be a challenge for me πŸ™‚

  13. I considered doing NaBloPoMo, but as I’m already doing NaNoWriMo and have school, I’m not sure whether I’ll even have time to read your regular posts, much less these extra ones you speak of…and write my own!! Nah, i think my blog posting will either stay the same or take a nosedive, depending on how well I’m doing NaNoWriMo. πŸ˜€
