Guess where I am? Come on…Guess!
No.
Nope.
Uh-uh.
Wrong Again!
I’m at the Public Library down the road from my house. Well – it’s about a mile and a half away. But, guess how I got here?
Nope.
Wrong.
I road RODE (Thanks, Lisa) my NEW BIKE! I was very scared since it was my first time riding it (or any bike, for that matter) along a REAL road with REAL cars that make loud noises and scare me. I kept yelling at Lil’Zoot – “Slow Down! You’re going too fast!” – because I? Am a big fat wuss.
As we were walking (not riding) the bikes the last stretch (I was scared and wanted to walk the rest of the way) LilZoot looked at me and said, “You’re so cute. With your tassels and your basket and being all scared and stuff.” I told him he’d better not tell ANYONE how big of a chicken I was/am. He’d better keep his word. I don’t want to be the joke of the neighborhood!
But…we made it ALIVE, and here I am, writing an entry on a freakin’ antique. The mouse? Doesnt even have one of those scolly button things! Can you believe the lack of technology! I’m having to actually use the SCROLL BAR to scroll down! The humanity!
Well…time to hunt down LilZoot in the Teen Books and head back home. Wish us Luck!
Hee hee! Bikes and libraries, that’s the way to the best kind of life!
What was the OS? I haven’t been to the public library in YEARS. I should see what it looks like these days. . .
I road my NEW BIKE!
Um, you probably rode on the road. 😉
Congrats on bike riding though!
LilZoot doesn’t NEED to tell everyone what a wuss you were, cause you just DID! hehehe
I think you did great – very brave! That sounds like a lot of fun, but I’m thinking it’s WAY to cold for all that. heh. I’m lame.
BTW, did junkie EVER learn how to ride a bicycle?
…thought that might make you feel better. Tell lilZ to spread that word : )
You and Lil’Zoot are so cute
How much fun………………wheeeeee
Tassels and everything, sounds great.
No scrolling thing? Even I have one of those on my mouse.
You… still have it wrong. Your entry says “I’m at the Public Library down the road RODE” (it’s ‘down the road’ as you had it.) Later on in the entry, as Lisa was referring to, you have “I road my NEW BIKE! I was…” (it should be ‘I rode my NEW BIKE! I was…’)
How fun, though! Keep on truckin’.. er… biking… on the rode. =D
Wow, you are brave! I am such a chicken since I’ve gotten old I won’t even try to ride a bike anymore. I’m too scared of owies. So, do you think you’ll ride it a second time, or was once enough?
I’m proud of you! I’m ok riding my bike, but not if I’m with my husband and kids. I get so nervous that they’re going to get hurt. But I’m ok on my own. Good thing you got that basket to carry your books home in!
I simply wouldn’t survive without my little scroll button. And LilZ calling you cute is just priceless. I love it! Also the grammatical confusion over road/rode is making me giggle.
Why are all the computers at public libraries so old?
Yay you! Did you wear a helmet?? They do nasty things to your hair!
Yay for you!
Zootwheels!
(or, Zootenbiken?)
Lilz is going to be a HELL of a man when he grows up!!!
You so need to get LilZ to take a picture of you on your new ride!
Wooo hoooo!! All the cool kids got bikes for Christmas. 😉
Love the pink paint scheme…. and the tassles (goes without saying, though, right?)
I want a horn that goes “uh-ooooooo-ga” for mine. Maybe hubby will get me one for Valentine’s Day.
